Clinica Amistad is a free health clinic that opened in March of 2003. The clinic is a project of Amistad y Salud, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. Their primary goal is to provide free quality primary and integrative healthcare to low income people who have no health insurance. Clinica Amistad offer holistic and integrative health care to patients of all ages.

INTERNATIONAL RESCUE COMMITTEE (IRC)

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crisis and helps people to survive and rebuild their lives after been forced to flee their homes because of war or persecution based on race, nationality, religious beliefs, or political opinions.  The IRC in Tucson has welcomed over 3,000 refugees from over 23 countries as newcomers to the Tucson community.  The IRC provides a variety of services including housing and cash assistance, counseling services, wellness promotion, youth development, access to health care, job search services, English classes, and U.S. citizenships preparation.

LUZ SOCIAL SERVICES

Luz is a community-based 501(c)3 registered non-profit corporation founded in 1971 to provide health and human services to the Hispanic communities as well as the general population of Tucson. Through community mobilization and development, Luz continues to direct its resources to fight the consequences and associated problems of substance abuse, such as juvenile crime, school dropouts, DUI, violence, drug possessions and arrests, teen pregnancy, alcohol and tobacco use by pregnant women, and liquor law violations.

ST. ELIZABETH’S HEALTH CENTER

St. Elizabeth’s provides a medical home for thousands of uninsured and underinsured individuals and families in our community.
